Bike Night is stepping things up on Saturday, May 9, with the launch of the Bike Night: Main Event, combining casual drag racing with a new elimination competition and a stack of rider awards. The headline attraction will be a 32-bike elimination competition for street bikes.

Riders will be able to enter the knockout bracket for just $10 on top of the standard entry fee. The winner will take home a $300 cash prize, trophy and free entry to the next Bike Night event. Organisers are also introducing a dedicated Bike Callout Lane, allowing riders to settle rivalries on the strip in front of the crowd. Riders are encouraged to email in their callouts ahead of the event.

A live leaderboard will run throughout the night so spectators and competitors can follow the knockout rounds as they happen. Alongside the main competition, Bike Night will feature a series of crowd-focused awards including:

Fastest Bike
Closest Race
Best Launch
Best Burnout
Best Sounding Bike

Spectators will also get involved, with crowd voting helping determine some of the winners on the night. The event promises an extra hour of racing compared to regular Bike Night formats, giving riders more track time and more opportunities to line up against mates in a relaxed atmosphere.
