BMW Motorrad launches 2021 GS Experience program

BMW say they are excited to announce dates of their GS Experience for 2021 – the ultimate extended test-ride program for all GS models in their intended off-road environment. The GS Experience will be held across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, located in picturesque locations.

“This year’s GS Safari heads to Far North Queensland for five days of adventure riding in the tropics between Townsville and Cairns.”

The GS events line-up, meanwhile, caters to capable GS owners with anticipated outings on the 2021 roster including GS Safari and the GS Safari Enduro – both of which sold out within hours of going on sale. This year’s GS Safari heads to Far North Queensland for five days of adventure riding in the tropics between Townsville and Cairns from May 23-28.

The more off-road oriented GS Safari Enduro (August 22-28), meanwhile, heads to the Central West Queensland town of Longreach, also home of the Qantas Museum, to begin a six-day, 2,500km-plus adventure into the Australian Outback, finishing in Toowoomba.

The line-up of locations for this years GS Experience looks spectacular, with options for every type of rider.

“BMW Motorrad’s program of events on offer throughout 2021 is remarkable, underscored by the fact that both GS Safaris sold out within hours of going on sale,” BMW Motorrad General Manager Andreas Lundgren said.

“If riders are looking to put our excellent GS range through its paces in Australia’s real GS conditions, the GS Experience is the perfect opportunity.”

Riders will receive two tests rides from a long list of current BMW adventure bikes, head to the website to see the selection.

The GS Experience events gives riders the chance to put bikes from the entire GS range to the test in a real-world environment, with everything from the entry-level GS 310 GS to the R 1250 GS Adventure, complete with ShiftCam technology, on offer.

Participants will receive two test rides for their $49 entry fee with the ability to select the two models they wish to ride from the list of available bikes on the event booking form. All participants in the event will receive a limited-edition GS Experience t-shirt and light refreshments throughout the day. Bookings are now open. More details can be found here.
