CFMOTO Australia has announced the arrival of a new addition to its MT adventure touring range – the 800MT-X LS. This new variant brings all the premium features of the standard 800MT-X, now in a more accessible and confidence-inspiring package for a broader range of riders. Press: CFMOTO

With a revised seat height of 830mm, down from the standard model’s 870mm, the Low Seat variant has been designed to offer greater control, comfort, and confidence. Ideal for those preferring a lower centre of gravity or improved low-speed handling, the 800MT-X LS broadens the appeal of the MT-X platform. Importantly, the lower seat height is achieved not by trimming seat foam but through revised suspension components that reduce ride height while maintaining ride quality.

The setup retains:
190mm suspension travel (front & rear)
200mm ground clearance
830mm seat height

These changes ensure the LS variant retains the hallmark comfort, handling, and versatility the MT-X is known for, while offering a more manageable stance.

“The Low Seat variant opens up the 800MT-X platform to even more riders,” said Matt Reilly, General Manager – Sales & Marketing at CFMOTO Australia. “Whether you’re new to adventure riding or just want a little more confidence in varied terrain, this model delivers the same powerful, feature-rich experience in a more approachable package.”
