After a season filled with less-favourable headlines for the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team, FIM, IRTA and Dorna have made the decision to strip the Aprilia RS-GP running team of their grid spaces for 2024.

“The MotoGP™️ Selection Committee, comprising members of FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports, have decided not to select the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP™️ Team for the 2024 season. Repeated infractions and breaches of the Participation Agreement affecting the public image of MotoGP™️ have obliged this decision. The Selection Committee will be reviewing applications for a new Independent Team, using Aprilia machinery, to join the MotoGP™️ class grid for 2024. More information on this matter will follow in due course.”

This comes just hours after the team announced it’s new “strategic partnership” with UNTOLD for
Motorsport and Entertainment Fusion and rumours that the team were in finical trouble. The team will continue in MotoE at this point
