CSS and MEGA have joined forces!
California Superbike School Australia (CSS) & Motorcycling Events Group Australia (MEGA) have joined forces, collaborating over all future Schools & Ride Days in Australia. Already considered industry leaders in their respective fields… Press: MEGA
California Superbike School is the globally recognised leader in motorcycle training, and has been the most respected high quality rider training program in Australia for more than 30 years. This exciting new collaboration with MEGA also includes a management restructure for CSS that will support and guide the school’s continued development, ensuring students continue to receive the latest curriculum, coaching philosophy, and commitment to rider development that has been at the heart of California Superbike School Australia since its inception.
Adrian Hastwell-Batten: “This restructure and collaboration represents an important step in strengthening the business for the future. I’m extremely proud of what we have built and of the people who have helped build it. This new structure allows responsibility for the business to be shared across a very capable and experienced leadership team, with Marc Wilson taking over my previous role of Managing Director who, with the addition of Steve Brouggy & Damian Mackie, bring extensive experience and long-standing involvement with the school into leadership and management of the company. I have every confidence in the extended team and I’m excited about what comes next.”
Motorcycling Events Group Australia has been the leading provider of non-competition motorcycling experiences in Australia since 1994, and has been at the forefront of the evolution of the industry since that time. The current providers of Ride Day activities at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit (Phillip Island Ride Days) and Sydney Motorsport Park (SMSP Ride Days), MEGA also has a history of rider training and was the original organisation to bring the Superbike School to the region in January 1996, operating and managing the schools until 2016.
Steve Brouggy: “The Superbike Schools ethos has been the key influence that literally shaped my life. The things I learned from my time with the organisation during my early adulthood have been a determining factor in both my business and private life, and is the cornerstone of MEGA’s success. To be a part of that organisation once again and to collaborate with CSS across both brands is nothing short of a dream come true. With pooled resources and shared management with people I know and respect – who individually and collectively have decades of experience in the industry – I’m looking forward to the next phase for both organisations.”
California Superbike School Australia & Motorcycling Events Group Australia look forward to continuing their long-standing relationships with students, riders, coaches, staff, circuits, sponsors and the wider motorcycling community as they move into this next chapter. Stay tuned for more updates!
