Ducati has added another DesertX variant to the stable. Joining the DesertX and DesertX Rally is the all-new DesertX Discovery. This new model will be available in Q4 and will come with a price tag of $29,800 R/A in Australia and $32,172 R/A for our Kiwi family. Press: Ducati ANZ.

Filling a place between the base model $26,400 R/A DesertX and the top spec $36,800 R/A DesertX Rally is the third member of the DesertX family, the Discovery, featuring more long distance comfort and ergonomics than the off-road focussed Rally and some upgraded adventure kit over the DesertX. Alloy panniers are also available as an optional extra at an additional cost. Details are here

“The DesertX Discovery was created to be unstoppable on any terrain and for this reason it is equipped as standard with reinforced hand guards and engine guard with protection for the water pump, radiator grill and reinforced sump guard to protect the bike on the most difficult sections.

“The heated grips and the larger windshield increase comfort at low temperatures, and the central stand makes the motorcycle more stable, facilitating access to luggage during stops and maintenance operations on the chain and rear wheel”. Say Ducati.
