Honda update 2026 Grom MSX125 with new colour range.
The 2026 Grom MSX125 builds on the styling update introduced for 2025, which brought more aggressive bodywork, tank covers and a sportier undercowl design. For 2026, the focus shifts to fresh paint and graphics packages designed to further highlight the Grom’s personality. Press: Honda
Leading the revised lineup is a new HRC-inspired Tricolour scheme finished in Gayety Red, giving the little Honda a race-bike flavour inspired by Honda’s factory competition machines. Also joining the range are updated Splendid Blue and Pearl Shining Black colour options.

Despite its compact dimensions, the Grom continues to enjoy enormous popularity globally thanks to its lightweight feel, low running costs and easy customisation potential. Since its launch in 2012, Honda says more than 863,000 Grom MSX125 863,000 units have been sold worldwide.
Mechanically, the 2026 Grom remains unchanged. Power comes from the familiar air-cooled 125cc single-cylinder engine paired with a five-speed gearbox, while the lightweight chassis and 12-inch wheels continue to deliver the bike’s trademark urban agility and approachable character.
The Grom also retains one of its biggest drawcards — easily removable bodywork that allows owners to personalise the bike with wraps, graphics and accessories.
Honda Australia has not yet confirmed local pricing or delivery timing for the 2026 Grom MSX125. We’ll update this story as soon as Australian specifications, pricing and arrival dates are announced.
And yes, as soon as Honda Australia lands the updated Grom locally, we’ll be aiming to get one on test for a full BikeReview ride review. Given how much fun these little bikes are, we’re pretty keen to throw a leg over the 2026 model as soon as possible.
