In the premier MX1 class, Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki rider Dean Ferris showed impressive pace throughout the weekend aboard his KX450. Ferris recorded the second-fastest lap in race two on the rough and technical Canberra circuit, highlighting his front-running speed. However, crashes in both motos impacted his final result, leaving the four-time national champion eighth overall for the round and fourth in the championship standings.

Teammate Brad West made clear progress compared with the opening round, finishing 12th overall. One of the standout performances of the weekend came from Madoc Dixon, representing Kawasaki Team Green NZ, who charged through the MX2 field in moto one to secure fourth place, finishing just a second shy of the podium. Dixon ended the round seventh overall, showcasing strong pace throughout the event.

Also competing in MX2, Haruki Yokoyama delivered consistent results with 14th and 10th place finishes, securing 12th overall aboard his KX250.
