In the premier MX1 class, Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki rider Dean Ferris showed impressive pace throughout the weekend aboard his KX450. Ferris recorded the second-fastest lap in race two on the rough and technical Canberra circuit, highlighting his front-running speed. However, crashes in both motos impacted his final result, leaving the four-time national champion eighth overall for the round and fourth in the championship standings.

Teammate Brad West made clear progress compared with the opening round, finishing 12th overall. West demonstrated strong early race speed in moto two, running with the lead group and briefly holding a podium position during the opening laps before gaining valuable experience battling at the front of the MX1 field.

In the MX2 class, the JPM 360 Kawasaki team continued to build momentum. Ryan Alexanderson narrowly missed the overall podium, finishing fourth for the round after posting consistent 5–3 moto results. The performance moves the Queensland rider up to sixth in the championship standings.

Teammate Jayce Cosford showed improvement in his second national appearance with the team following an off-season shoulder surgery. Cosford recorded 11th and 15th place finishes across both the two motos to claim 14th overall in Canberra.

One of the standout performances of the weekend came from Madoc Dixon, representing Kawasaki Team Green NZ, who charged through the MX2 field in moto one to secure fourth place, finishing just a second shy of the podium. Dixon ended the round seventh overall, showcasing strong pace throughout the event.
Also competing in MX2, Haruki Yokoyama delivered consistent results with 14th and 10th place finishes, securing 12th overall aboard his KX250.
