Kawasaki Webike Trickstar is heading to the 46th Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours (August 1–3) with momentum on its side and confidence after a strong start to the 2025 FIM Endurance World Championship season — and a successful two-day test at Suzuka Circuit confirming the team is “faster than last year.” Press: EWCAfter taking a podium at the 24 Heures Motos and backing it up with a fifth-place finish at Spa, the Kawasaki squad now sits second in the EWC Teams Championship standings. Their campaign continues in Japan, where the team will face high humidity, punishing heat, and the demanding S Curves of Suzuka.

Italian racer Christian Gamarino returns to the #11 ZX-10R after being sidelined at Le Mans due to injury, and is joined once again by French riders Grégory Leblanc and Mike Di Meglio. Gamarino, who previously won the 2023 FIM Endurance World Cup with Team 33 Louit April Moto, is optimistic after the team’s recent Suzuka test:

“It was two very hot days, but definitely useful since the race will be run in similar conditions. We’re definitely faster than last year.”Leblanc, 40, will be back on the grid at Suzuka after missing last year’s race due to an injury sustained in warm-up. With consistent results this season and no major setbacks, he’s confident about the challenge ahead.

“We’re heading to Suzuka with the right mindset. Fifth at Spa from ninth on the grid was realistic, and while a podium would’ve been ideal, we’re still second in the championship with no mistakes.”Di Meglio, a two-time EWC champion and former MotoGP rider, says Suzuka is like no other event on the calendar: “It’s a special race — extremely hot, physically demanding, and the S Curves are intense. When you finish them, you feel like the lap is almost done.”Kawasaki Webike Trickstar will take on the world’s best factory and independent endurance squads at Suzuka, a race that blends prestige with outright endurance racing brutality. With momentum building and clear improvements on track, the team is primed to challenge for another big result.
