Aussie legend Ben Grabham has made a fantastic return to the Finke Desert Race, dominating the Open Two-stroke class. This year’s results were based on only one day of action, where Grabbo made it to Finke 18 minutes ahead of his nearest competitor in the 251cc and above 2-stroke class.

Finke Legend, Ben Grabham, took home the win in the 250cc 2-Stroke class and finished 21st overall.

It was a hard-fought battle through Australia’s Northern Territory, but Ben Grabham pulled through to take the win by a huge margin in the 250cc 2-stroke class. The Leatt sponsored rider also managed a 21st outright spot, just short of the top 20.

“To win my class by over 18 minutes was very satisfying” Ben said after the race. Finke is the highlight of most Australian Endurance riders calendars, so for Ben to win by such a margin shows he is still more than capable of taking home more outright wins in the future as he has done in the past.

Ben chose to ride with Leatt this year, with the Moto 8.5 he was wearing being available for an RRP of $799.95.

For this year’s Finke, Grabham chose to ride in the Leatt Moto 8.5 Helmet, in combination with Leatt 5.5 Jersey and pants. Head here to find out more about Leatt’s range of off-road gear!
