In the lead up to a bigger and better than ever Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) season, Motorcycling Australia (MA) have released the 2019 AORC Junior Coaching Days to be held across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

Due to popular demand received in 2018, the AORC Junior Coaching Days has expanded from three to four days, with two of the four days held in Victoria.

All AORC Junior Coaching Days are for juniors aged 12-16 years, with all proceeds going toward funding the 2019 FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) team who head off to Portugal in November.

All entry links for each coaching day are available below. Spots are expected to fill quickly, so don’t hesitate to get your entry in! Any entered riders of the 2019 AORC Junior Coaching Days who compete in all 11 rounds of the 2019 AORC season are eligible for one entry fee back!

Each of the three states will play host to a full day of coaching by some of AORC’s most elite riders, including members from the victorious 2018 ISDE World Trophy Team and Women’s World Trophy Team!

In a money can’t buy experience, all entered junior riders will gain invaluable knowledge and guidance from the likes of 2018 AORC E2, E3 and Women’s Champions, Daniel “Chucky” Sanders, Daniel Milner, and Jessica Gardiner, respectively!

Each elite rider will teach the AORC Juniors the correct riding technique, provide information on the art of the racing line, race preparation, plus other valuable aspects such as fitness and nutrition, bike set up. Most importantly, the AORC elite riders will guide all juniors on how to become a Champion! Each Junior Coaching Day will incur a $200.00 entry fee.

2019 AORC Junior Coaching Days – Victoria

The first AORC Junior Coaching Day kicks off at Yarra Valley, Victoria on January 19th from 9am to 3pm! Juniors will be treated to guidance and tips from the 2018 AORC E2 Champion and team member of the victorious 2018 FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) Australian Wold Trophy Team, Daniel “Chucky” Sanders! Alongside Chucky will be Andrew Wilksch, who rounded out the top four of the 2018 AORC E3 Championship and represented Australia in the Junior World Trophy Team at the 2018 ISDE!

The coaching then moves on to Lang Lang, Victoria on January 20th 2019, from 9am to 3pm. Entered junior riders will treated to two members of the Team Australia World Trophy Team who were triumphant at the 2018 ISDE in Chile, Daniel Milner and Lyndon Snodgrass. With these two Enduro legends coaching you on a jampacked Summer day, you won’t be able to wipe that smile off your face as you come away with insider tips and tricks to becoming Australia’s next Off-Road Champion!

2019 AORC Junior Coaching Days – New South Wales

Moving up North, the third 2019 AORC Junior Coaching Day will be held at Stroud, New South Wales (NSW) on February 9th from 9am to 3pm. With an excellent 2018 AORC season under his belt plus immense experience at the 2017 ISDE, Joshua Green will teach NSW junior riders patience, whilst unloading a lifetime of knowledge on Enduro racing. Joining Green will be Team Australia’s sixth consecutive winner of the ISDE Women’s World Trophy, Jessica Gardiner!

2019 AORC Junior Coaching Days – Queensland

Former ISDE Women’s World Trophy Champion, Jemma Wilson and 2018 ISDE Junior World Trophy team member Fraser Higlett, will head up the coaching positions at the fourth and final 2019 AORC Junior Coaching Day at Gympie, Queensland on February 23rd , from 9am to 3pm. With the combination of upcoming talent from Higlett and Wilson’s international experience, the Queensland AORC Junior Coaching Day is not to be missed!

Any entered riders of the 2019 AORC Junior Coaching Days who are competing in all 11 rounds of the 2019 AORC season are eligible for one entry fee back!
