Moto Guzzi will celebrate its 105th anniversary in spectacular fashion this September, opening a brand-new factory and museum at its historic home in Mandello del Lario during the biggest-ever Moto Guzzi World Days (GMG).

Running from September 3–6, 2026, the four-day festival will mark a defining moment in the Italian manufacturer’s history, as more than a century of heritage meets a new era of motorcycle production and visitor experiences.

Since 1921, every Moto Guzzi has been built in the picturesque lakeside town of Mandello del Lario on the shores of Lake Como. Now, the iconic site has been transformed into a state-of-the-art manufacturing and visitor hub while remaining within the original factory grounds.

The centrepiece of the redevelopment is the all-new Moto Guzzi Museum, which will showcase more than a century of the brand’s engineering, racing success and iconic motorcycles through immersive displays and exhibits celebrating one of motorcycling’s richest histories.

The new complex also features modern production facilities, a Motoplex Store, café, workshop, event spaces and visitor attractions, all of which will be open to the public free of charge during Moto Guzzi World Days, subject to registration.

Organisers expect tens of thousands of Moto Guzzi enthusiasts from around the world to descend on Mandello for what is expected to be the largest GMG event ever staged.

One of the highlights will be the traditional Saturday parade, when thousands of Moto Guzzi motorcycles representing every era of the marque will ride together from Lecco to Mandello del Lario in a spectacular celebration of the famous Eagle brand.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy free test rides, live music, entertainment, street food and a packed schedule of activities throughout the four-day celebration.

As Moto Guzzi enters its 106th year, the opening of its new factory and museum signals both a celebration of its remarkable past and a major investment in the future of one of motorcycling’s most iconic manufacturers.
