Pirelli Tyres now available for ASBK Rnd 1: Phillip Island

Link International has announced that tyres can now be purchased for Round 1 of the 2017 Australian Superbike Championship from Cykel Products Australia, the official Victorian agent for Pirelli Motorcycle Tyres.

Tyres can be ordered using the ASBK Test forms by class, and can be downloaded here.

Pirelli privateer rider Michael Blair claimed the fastest time in the Superbike class at the last test using Pirelli Diablo Superbike tyres, with Pirelli riders spread through many of the top times on the day, including riders from Desmosport Ducati and Crankt Team Honda racing.

Pirelli riders also featured heavily in the Supersport 600 qualifying times and production classes with Diablo Supercorsa tyres.

For Phillip Island Pirelli provides a Phillip Island specific Diablo Superbike 200/60-17 SCX rear direct from the World Superbike Championship, used in conjunction with standard front and rear options in the Pirelli Diablo Superbike range. Plus the Diablo Supercorsa 190/60ZR-17 SCX for Supersport 600, alongside all other standard compounds in the Supercorsa range.

This year also for the Supersport up to 300, Over 300 and R3 Cup there is a range championship winning Diablo Supercorsa to suit, including sizes for Kawasaki, Yamaha and KTM in these classes.
