QJMOTOR Australia expects its first motorcycles to arrive in Australian showrooms from October, with the company currently developing its national dealer network and conducting presentations with prospective dealers. Press: Nexa Auto Imports

The Australian operation has been built from the ground up, with dealer appointments, technical training, stock planning and aftersales systems being established ahead of the first customer deliveries.

“We’ve had the opportunity to build this operation from the ground up, and that means getting the right people, systems and support in place before the first bike is sold,” said QJMOTOR Australia Managing Director Clint Davis. “Riders get the ownership experience they expect, and dealers can back the brand with confidence.”

Range spans LAMS to full-power models

QJMOTOR’s Australian range will cover Sport, Roadster, Adventure and Cruiser categories, with models ranging from LAMS offerings through to full-power motorcycles.

Key LAMS models include the SRV 600 V2 V-Twin Cruiser and SRT 450 RX Adventure, while the full-power range will include the SRK 800 RR Supersport, SRK 800 Roadster and SRT 900 SX Adventure.

QJMOTOR Australia Regional Development Manager Dean Kurz said the company believed the Australian LAMS market was showing signs of growth, with riders expecting learner-approved motorcycles to offer strong equipment levels and competitive pricing.

“Riders aren’t settling for a stripped-back learner bike any more,” Kurz said. “They expect smaller capacity to come properly equipped and sharply priced, and that’s exactly the brief QJMOTOR is built to.”

Regional Development Manager Dave Valquez added that QJMOTOR’s aim was to earn a place on riders’ shortlists through its model range, specifications, pricing and dealer support.

Three-year unlimited-kilometre warranty

Every new QJMOTOR motorcycle will be covered by a three-year, unlimited-kilometre factory warranty, commencing from first registration and claimable through any authorised QJMOTOR dealer.

The company says its aftersales operation will include parts, accessories, workshop support and a dedicated technical and warranty team.

“Meeting Australian riders’ expectations means a three-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty,” said QJMOTOR Australia Technical and Warranty Manager David Walker. “Riders can buy with confidence and ride with peace of mind, knowing their dealer has them covered.”

QJMOTOR says its dealer ordering and warranty systems have been designed to improve transparency and reduce delays. Warranty claims will be ticketed and tracked, while stock visibility is intended to help dealers provide accurate information on parts availability and delivery times.

National warehousing and dealer support

QJMOTOR Australia will warehouse motorcycles at a 10,900-square-metre Sydney facility, with parts and accessories stored at an 8,200-square-metre Melbourne site. Additional third-party warehousing in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth will support national distribution.

The Melbourne facility uses automated guided vehicles for order picking, with the company claiming the system can move motorcycles and parts at roughly five times the efficiency of manual picking.

Dealer presentations are being conducted throughout September by Dean Kurz and Dave Valquez. Aftersales operations are led by David Walker and Parts, Accessories and Clothing Manager Steve Wall, with Adrian Row coordinating logistics.

QJMOTOR backed by Geely

QJMOTOR competes in the FIM Supersport World Championship and Moto2 and is backed by Geely Holding Group, which also owns Volvo, Polestar and Lotus.

The company’s Eastern Smart Manufacturing Park in Wenling produces more than one million vehicles annually, with digitally monitored quality-control systems supporting production.

QJMOTOR Australia says it will progressively broaden its local range, with final model specifications and pricing to be confirmed closer to launch.

Riders can register their interest in QJMOTOR models through qjmotor.com.au, while established motorcycle dealers can submit an enquiry through the dealer application form.
