Sydney Dragway will come alive tomorrow with Bike Night, an evening dedicated to motorcycle drag racing and two-wheeled competition proudly supported by Sydney Random Riders, Heavy Duty Magazine and Sy’s Harley Davidson. Check out the details…

Located at Eastern Creek, Sydney Dragway is one of Australia’s premier drag racing facilities, providing a purpose-built venue for high-speed competition. Bike Night puts the focus firmly on motorcycles, giving competitors the chance to launch their machines down the strip while spectators enjoy the atmosphere, sound and spectacle of drag racing.

Gates open (Gate A) at 4:30pm, with scrutineering running through until 8:30pm. Racing gets underway at 6pm and continues until 10pm. Competitor entries are filling fast, with riders encouraged to book online ahead of the event.

Safety equipment is mandatory. Competitors must wear an approved full-face helmet, a purpose-made motorcycle jacket with armour including a back protector, and full-length jeans or workwear-style cargo pants as a minimum. Leather or Kevlar riding gear is strongly recommended. Full leather gloves are required, while purpose-made riding boots or lace-up boots that cover the ankles must be worn. Track suits, material gloves, runners and elastic-sided boots are not permitted.
