The spotlight will fall on five-time Australian Superbike Champion Josh Waters today as he lines up against many of the world’s biggest motorcycle racing stars in the Lenovo Race of Champions, one of the headline events of World Ducati Week 2026…
Held at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, this year’s Race of Champions is extra special as Ducati celebrates its 100th anniversary, bringing together riders from MotoGP, WorldSBK and leading national championships aboard identical Panigale V4 Tricolore motorcycles.
Waters will represent Australia alongside an all-star international field that includes Marc Márquez, Francesco Bagnaia, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Franco Morbidelli, Nicolò Bulega, Álvaro Bautista and several other Ducati stars from around the globe.
The unique race has become one of the highlights of World Ducati Week, with every rider competing on virtually identical machinery, putting the emphasis firmly on rider skill rather than equipment.
Australian fans can watch the action live via Ducati’s official World Ducati Week livestream below. The Lenovo Race of Champions starts at 12:15pm Italian time, which is 8:15pm AEST today (Saturday in Queensland, NSW, ACT, Victoria and Tasmania).
