Hosted by the Far South Coast Motorcycle Club, the penultimate round of the five-round championship is shaping as one of the most important weekends of the season, with valuable points on the line and title contenders running out of opportunities to make their move. After three fiercely contested rounds, the pace is increasing and the championship margins are narrowing, setting the scene for a crucial weekend on the Far South Coast.

Adding to the excitement is a brand-new motocross circuit that will make its competition debut. The sandy loam track has been designed to provide fast, flowing racing for riders of all skill levels, with organisers expecting close competition across the extensive range of junior and senior classes. The 2026 series has introduced a revised format featuring qualifying sessions, Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQs) and two championship motos per class, placing an even greater emphasis on consistency and racecraft throughout the weekend.

Nearly 400 riders are expected to compete across the championship, making it one of the largest state motocross series in Australia. Classes range from junior 50cc and 65cc categories through to MX1, MX2, MX3, MXW and Veterans competition. With only one round remaining after Candelo, championship hopefuls know strong results this weekend could prove decisive in the title chase before the series finale at Cessnock in late June.

Fans unable to attend can still catch every moment of the action, with Motorcycling NSW providing live coverage throughout the weekend via its official YouTube channel here.

Coverage begins from 8:30am each day, allowing motocross fans around Australia to follow every race, battle and championship twist as it happens.
