Long-term ASBK partner Yamaha Financial Services, under the new YFS branding will continue as the official Naming Rights sponsor of the 2021 YFS R3 Cup, as part of the 2021 mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship, presented by Motul (ASBK).

YFS will continue supporting the booming R3 cup to allow people to enter the sport at an affordable level.

YFS continued partnership with the ASBK Championship shows Yamaha’s continued confidence in the direction of ASBK and our growing entry level development racing programs.

YFS is a 100 per cent owned subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Australia and was established to give Yamaha customers access to specially tailored finance packages on Yamaha’s huge range of motor products under the YMI and YMF brands.

YFS will be the title sponsor to the series R3 Cup, which is a one-make only competition.

The YFS R3 Cup is a Yamaha one-make initiative, which made its ASBK debut in 2016, and is designed to offer an affordable entry level package into road racing, yet the YFS R3 Cup racing is always fast, furious and super competitive.

Motorcycling Australia CEO, Peter Doyle said MA was thrilled to welcome back YFS to the ASBK paddock.

The 2021 season kicked off last weekend at Winton Raceway, which saw exciting racing from the support series.

“We have had a very strong partnership with Yamaha Financial Services over recent years and we share the same passion and excitement for ASBK,” Mr Doyle said.

“YFS’ commitment to the R3 Cup ensures our junior and entry level riders can excel and further develop their race craft… The YFS R3 Cup always produces sensational racing and we are sure to see dazzling on track action again in 2021 with the support of YFS.”

Racers will head to Wakefield park for the next round, kicking off on April the 16th.

“At Yamaha Financial Services we are all about making riders dreams a reality through our financial and insurance services, whether it is getting on the road, the track or off-road, and as proud partners with ASBK, we want to do our bit to ensure riders in the YFS R3 Cup can chase their dreams.”Said YFS General Manager, Kelly Fraser.
