Offering a distinct version of the Harley-Davidson FortyEight, the Special edition of this Sportster model adds Tallboy ‘bars for extra attitude and its own handling character, while a host of styling changes include the engine cases, tank paint and exhaust, to make for a factory custom styled offering.

Boasting the 1202cc Evolution V-Twin, nine-split-spoke wheels, 49mm cartridge forks, Emulsion dual rear shocks and a relaxed seat height of 705mm, the FortyEight Special makes for an eye catching option that stands out from the norm, and draws plenty of attention wherever you go.

A 7.9L fuel tank and ground clearance are limiting factors but the FortyEight Special makes for an ideal urban warrior and is still plenty at home through the sweepers and twisties, where a surprising turn of pace is possible and torque laden performance rewards aggressive throttle use.
