This past weekend, the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed also made a little history for MotoGP Legend Wayne Rainey. The American was back on his Yamaha YZR500 for the first time in over thirty years for an incredibly emotional experience. Check out the video below of his Goodwood run! Press Release: MotoGP

Wayne rode up the hill alongside some former rivals and fellow Legends: Kevin Schwantz, Mick Doohan, Kenny Roberts and Dani Pedrosa. Rainey led the pack away, and this time there was no fight for the lead as the three-time World Champion held station at the front.

“Absolutely amazing. Every time I get on the bike I have this anticipation, excitement, and when I came onto the front straight there where all the fans are, you can feel and hear them! It’s just a real thrill for me to be out on the track riding with all my buddies, as they are now. It’s been great.” Said Rainey
