The 349cc Meteor 350 continues with its long-stroke, air-cooled J-series single engine — a smooth, tractable powerplant tuned more for relaxed cruising than outright performance — producing about 20.2hp and 27Nm of torque via a five-speed gearbox with an overdrive top-gear for relaxed running.

New looks and features
Royal Enfield has added three fresh colour schemes — Fireball Grey, Stellar Matt Grey (+$400) and Supernova Black (+$700) — to the Meteor line-up, refreshing its visual appeal across urban and rural environments. Costing from $8,190 Ride Away, the Meteor 350 comes with a three-year warranty and roadside assist program.
Alongside the updated palette, the Meteor now comes with a suite of modern rider conveniences, including an assist-and-slip clutch for lighter lever effort and smoother low-speed control, a USB Type-C fast charging port for on-the-go device charging, and full LED lighting for improved visibility at dawn, dusk and night.

Royal Enfield’s clever Tripper navigation system — a Bluetooth-connected turn-by-turn module powered by Google Maps — remains a standout feature, integrated into the digi-analogue instrument cluster and designed to help riders find their way without distraction.
Chassis and comfort
The Meteor 350’s twin downtube spine frame and low-seat geometry give the bike a stable, confidence-inspiring feel around town and on open roads alike, with a comfortable riding position that suits both daily commuting and longer journeys.
Suspension comprises 41 mm telescopic forks up front and twin tube emulsion shocks with six-step preload adjustment at the rear, while dual-channel ABS with front 300 mm and rear 270 mm discs contribute to sure-footed stopping performance.

Riders familiar with the Meteor will recognise its laid-back ergonomic package — a wide, low seat paired with relaxed footpeg and handlebar placement that’s ideal for easy cruising. While not a high-speed machine, the Meteor’s stable handling and smooth torque delivery make it well suited to relaxed highway riding and urban traffic alike.
Market and appeal
Since its Australian arrival, the Meteor 350 has carved out a niche for riders seeking a classic-styled cruiser with modern usability and LAMS-eligible performance, allowing newer riders to enter the cruiser segment without feeling overpowered.
Royal Enfield’s updated Meteor retains its appeal as an affordable, comfortable choice for a wide range of riders — from beginners chasing cruiser style to seasoned riders looking for a relaxed second bike. Genuine accessories remain available for personalisation, from windshields and luggage options to touring seats and protective gear.

What’s unchanged?
Underneath the cosmetic and equipment updates, the Meteor 350’s core — its engine and chassis — remains true to the original recipe that won converts with its smooth power delivery and classic thump. That continuity ensures the refreshed model feels familiar to existing owners while offering a noticeable bump in everyday convenience and tech. Discover more here…
