The updates focus on sharper throttle response, revised chassis components, refreshed styling and enhanced touring capability, while retaining the accessibility that has made both middleweight triples standout performers in the Australian LAMS market.

Both the 2026 Trident 660 LAMS and 2026 Tiger Sport 660 LAMS will arrive in Australian Triumph dealerships from March 2026, with pricing starting from $14,890 ride away for the Trident 660 and $16,270 ride away for the Tiger Sport 660.

At the heart of both models is Triumph’s updated 660cc inline triple engine, now featuring major internal and hardware changes. A move from a single throttle body to three individual 44mm throttle bodies, one per cylinder, delivers improved throttle response and a more engaging character across the rev range. Further refinements include a larger front-mounted airbox, revised cylinder head with larger exhaust valves, higher-lift cam profiles and a new engine tune.

In LAMS specification, the Trident 660 produces 56PS at 11,250rpm and 60.7Nm at 6,250rpm, while Tiger Sport 660 delivers 58PS at 11,250rpm and 60Nm at 6,250rpm. Both models feature a revised six-speed gearbox with updated ratios, recalibrated Triumph Shift Assist, and a new slip-and-assist clutch for lighter lever effort and smoother shifts.

Styling updates give both bikes a stronger visual presence for 2026. The Trident 660 receives new bodywork with a wider, more sculpted fuel tank, revised headlight and new split seat design, reinforcing its muscular roadster stance. The Tiger Sport 660 benefits from new front-end bodywork, updated radiator cowls and a larger 18.6-litre fuel tank, improving weather protection and long-distance touring range.

Chassis revisions further enhance ride quality and confidence. The Trident 660 gains a revised frame and a new Showa rear suspension unit with preload and rebound adjustment, paired with 41mm Showa USD big piston forks. The Tiger Sport 660 retains its accessible ergonomics and gains chassis updates to suit the revised engine, along with Showa suspension front and rear, including remote preload adjustment at the back for touring or two-up riding.

Both models continue to offer a comprehensive electronics package as standard, including ride-by-wire throttle with Sport, Road and Rain modes, Optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control via a six-axis IMU, cruise control, Triumph Shift Assist, full LED lighting and MyTriumph Connectivity with navigation and phone integration.

New colour options debut for 2026. The Trident 660 is available in Snowdonia White, with Cosmic Yellow and Stone Grey offered as premium paint options. The Tiger Sport 660 is offered in Pure White, with premium schemes of Interstellar Blue with Mineral Grey or Silver Ice with Intense Orange.

Both the 2026 Triumph Trident 660 LAMS and Tiger Sport 660 LAMS are covered by Triumph’s two-year unlimited kilometre warranty, with class-leading 16,000km service intervals, reinforcing their strong value proposition in the LAMS middleweight segment.
