Ducati and Jeremy Seewer have officially confirmed the end of their collaboration in the MXGP World Championship, with the split taking immediate effect. The announcement brings an early conclusion to Seewer’s time with the Ducati Red Bull Factory MXGP Team.

Ducati confirmed its factory MXGP campaign will continue with riders Andrea Bonacorsi and Calvin Vlaanderen, beginning at the upcoming German Grand Prix at Teutschenthal on May 30–31.

Seewer played a significant role in Ducati’s early MXGP development program, helping the Italian manufacturer secure two podium finishes during the 2025 season aboard the factory Ducati motocross machine. The Swiss rider claimed third place finishes at Frauenfeld in Switzerland and Ernée in France.

Ducati thanked Seewer for his contribution to the project and wished him well for the future.

The move comes as Ducati continues developing its motocross program around the Desmo450 MX platform, with the company pushing deeper into off-road competition after decades focused primarily on road racing and superbikes.

Despite the split, Seewer remains one of the most experienced and respected riders in the MXGP paddock, while Ducati’s motocross ambitions continue to gather momentum as the Italian manufacturer builds its long-term presence in the world championship.
