Soubeyras narrowly missed another podium appearance, but his consistency keeps him firmly in the fight as the championship progresses. Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki teammate Ryan Alexanderson also continued his SX1 campaign aboard the KX450. Alexanderson finished eighth overall in Auckland, recording ninth-place results in two of the main events as he continues working towards greater consistency in the competitive premier class.

Queensland-based JPM 360 Kawasaki was also represented in the SX2 category, with Jayce Cosford aboard his KX250. It proved to be a challenging outing for Cosford, who finished 17th overall as he looks to bounce back at the upcoming rounds. With Auckland now behind them, the teams have little time to regroup, with the championship returning to Australia this weekend for round three at GMHBA Stadium in Geelong, Victoria. The Geelong event will also feature the coveted AUSX Open, adding another major occasion to the 2026 championship calendar.
