We’ve just had the Sena SRL Communication System arrive for Kris’s Shoei Neotec II modular helmet, with the system designed to fit seamlessly into the helmet, ensuring a clean, easy install.
The Shoei Neotec II helmet is designed specifically to accommodate the Sena SRL, which includes speakers for each ear, a rear power unit, control unit, microphone and additional side unit. The units replace standard sections of the helmet, and it’s a single piece assembly as you can see here.

We’ll be putting together a video of fitting the system to the helmet as well as a Shoei Neotec II helmet and SRL review, so stay tuned for those, but in the meantime the system is super light, in fact receiving the box I was a bit worried it might be empty! That’s with the packaging weighing more than the system too.
Included features on the Sena SRL include Bluetooth connectivity, voice commands, an eight-way intercom system with a range of 1.6km and FM radio. Advanced noise control, music sharing and audio multitasking are also all standard.
There’s also some cool optional accessories, such as a handlebar mount remote, as well as the Sena Bluetooth Audio Pack for GoPro, which suits a number of GoPro cameras and allows audio recording from the Sena comms system.
