Ducati Diavel 1260 displayed at International Motor Show 2019
Ducati are taking part in the International Motor Show 2019, held in Geneva from 7 to 17 March. In the midst of all the latest on the automobile front, the new Diavel 1260 is set to play a starring role.
With its unique look and inimitable qualities, the second-generation Diavel 1260 remains faithful to the original spirit of this incredibly special bike, drawing on its key styling elements yet bringing them decidedly up to date.
“We’re proud to have this opportunity to exhibit the Ducati Diavel 1260 at an event as distinguished as the Geneva Motor Show”, stated Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati. “The Diavel is a real stand-out on the motorcycle scene. Thanks to design brimming with personality, this bike is perfect for motorcyclists looking to project strength and determination. Geneva has a reputation for highlighting new concepts and outstanding design, making it the perfect setting in which to showcase Ducati’s second-generation Muscle Cruiser.”
The beefy lines up front and the tapered rear with its trademark 240 mm tyre give the Diavel 1260 an individuality as strong as it is unique. The wide air intakes and Trellis frame blend with a new 159 hp Testastretta DVT 1262 engine that combines acceleration with smooth low-rev power delivery, making it ideal for everyday riding or long tours.
Powerful, yet agile and fun to ride through the bends, the new Diavel 1260 merges maxi-naked performance with muscle-cruiser ergonomics, oozing a personality that matches the distinctive technical and styling content to perfection.
On the S version, a series of special components and meticulously designed details sharpen that unique style even further. A dedicated seat and machine-finished wheels add first-class finishing touches while Brembo M50 brake callipers, fully adjustable Öhlins suspension and DQS bring out its sports spirit. The full-LED headlight with DRL system makes the Diavel 1260 S recognisable at a glance.
Featuring generous as-standard equipment packages, both versions of the bike will be available starting in March.
