Fonzarelli helping out local business during pandemic
Sydney-based Australian Company Fonzarelli, who manufacture zero-emissions motorcycles such as the Arthur 3 that we tested in February, have decided to give back to the community and are supporting local business during the Worldwide health crisis that is affecting everyone.
Life has changed drastically over the past month, with new restrictions in place that have seen the closure of many restaurants, cafes, bars and the like. Many small businesses will be struggling to keep their doors open over the next few months to come.
Gnocchi bar Peppe’s Bondi are just one of many local business that are feeling the effects of the pandemic and the new restrictions set in place in order to tackle the unfolding COVID-19 situation.
New restrictions mean that many restaurants and many other hospitality services can now only service take-away orders and deliveries, and with sales as low as ever and food delivery services such as UberEats and Deliveroo taking a large commission from delivery sales, Fonzarelli has partnered with Peppe’s to offer a zero-emissions delivery service straight to your doorstep.
Fonzarelli offer fully-electric, zero-emissions motorcycles and scooters. We tested the Arthur 3, one of Fonzarelli’s electric scooters, as well as the NKD, an interesting electric road legal mini-bike.
For $60, a Peppe’s daily meal will get you a gnocchi, red beet panzanella and a bottle of Sicilian wine. If you would like to support Peppe’s Bondi and have your food delivered to you on one of Fonzarelli’s fully-electric machines, then you can order online here!
Fonzarelli HQ in Sydney will remain open with procedures in place to keep doors open and the community safe. Fonzarelli are:
- Following social distancing guidelines
- Offering hand sanatiser and wipes for test rides at the Redfern store.
- Managing team shifts for less interaction.
