The bulk of those sales came from the company’s domestic market in India, where 1,107,343 motorcycles were delivered during the year. Royal Enfield’s international business also continued to expand, with exports reaching 131,316 units, highlighting growing demand for the brand’s motorcycles across global markets. The strong annual performance was capped by a solid final month, with 112,334 motorcycles sold in March 2026, representing an 11 per cent increase compared with March 2025.

Royal Enfield’s recent growth has been driven by continued demand for its mid-capacity motorcycle range, which includes popular models such as the Hunter 350, Classic 350 and the brand’s 650cc twin-cylinder platform. These models have helped establish Royal Enfield as a major player in the global middleweight segment, combining classic styling with accessible performance and pricing.

The company has also continued to expand its international footprint in recent years, strengthening its presence in regions including Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas through new dealerships, local assembly operations and the introduction of new models.

Royal Enfield’s sustained growth reflects the brand’s transformation over the past decade. Once producing fewer than 100,000 motorcycles annually, the company has now recorded multiple consecutive years of more than one million global sales, cementing its position as one of the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturers.

With new models continuing to join the line-up and global demand for accessible mid-capacity motorcycles remaining strong, Royal Enfield appears well positioned to maintain its momentum as it heads into the next financial year.
