Cassons have decked me out in Bell, RJAYS, Dainese, Gaerne and Bull-It to test over the next Summer and Autumn months. The products received include a new one-piece race suit, summer jacket, summer street gloves, boots, jeans and a fresh lid!

In for review we have the RJAYS Air-Tech Jacket, the Gaerne G-RW boot, Dainese Air Hero XCE glove, RJAYS Stealth III suit, Bell SRT Blackout helmet and Bull-It Means Slim Tactical jeans. Here’s some product info and prices ahead of our reviews.


RJAYS Air-Tech Jacket
The Air-Tech jacket is RJAY’S answer to a comfortable and versatile riding jacket. At $399.95 RRP, you get tonnes of features, including a removable waterproof lining and removable thermal lining, CE level two armour at the shoulders and elbows, a CE level one back protector, reflective material for enhanced low-light visibility and plenty of adjustability in the arms and torso for a better fit. This jacket is promising, and should be a great jacket for many seasons to come.


Gaerne G-RW Boot
The G-RW a sporty feeling boot that boasts plenty of great features. The boot features a 3D Dry-Tech lining, which is claimed to be waterproof and also very breathable, an anti-slip rubber sole and removable insole. The fit itself is pretty snug, but still fits great even with leathers over the top. The boot is available with an RRP of $279.95.


Dainese Air Hero Glove
The Air Hero is set to be a perfect glove for summer riding, constructed from a mixture of mesh and leather, the glove allows for some protection, with a CE level two rating, and heaps of airflow thanks to the mesh material used in the glove. The glove can be adjusted to fit around the wrist. You can pick up the Air Hero for $139.95 RRP.


RJAYS Stealth III Suit
The Stealth III is a full, one-piece race suit from RJAYS. Available for $699.95 RRP, the suit has heaps of features, including perforated leather for ventilation, stretch panels for a more comfortable fit, race weight leather, a race hump, CE level two moulded plastic, aluminium reinforced shoulder armour, and CE level two armour at the elbows and knees/shins.


Bell SRT Blackout Helmet
The Bell SRT Blackout helmet is a DOT, ECE approved helmet for street riders, available for an RRP of $379.95. The helmet ships with a clear Panovision visor however we swapped this out for the tinted Panovision visor, available for an additional $139.95 RRP, which transforms the overall look of the lid. It uses a fibre-glass composite shell, which makes it pretty lightweight, and has plenty of ventilation to keep you cool. The helmet also has plenty of room for eyewear, perfect for those who need to where glasses or if you need sunnies on a sunny day.


Bull-It Mens Slim Tactical Jeans
$199.95 RRP gets you the Slim Tactical jeans from Bull-It. These jeans are set to be a great pair or riding jeans for the Summer. The jeans are super comfortable, and feature CE level two armour at the hips and knees as standard, and are AA rated for abrasion resistance. The jeans also feature a shower resistant finish if you find yourself in a bit of wet weather.
