Suzuki's V-Strom 250 is an easy machine to underestimate, but actually has plenty to offer the right rider, with an easy entry point into the adventure commuter segment. Here's our video review...

Don’t let the 250 fool you, the V-Strom 250 is a capable little machine, if one that is designed for a specific type of rider and set of expectations. While not a highway mile muncher, the V-Strom 250 will do short stints on the freeway, with the machine’s true strength being as an everyday commuter with some adventure capabilities.

Featuring the same powerplant as the GSX250R, the V-Strom has a fun low to mid-range that has been optimised for speeds of up to 90km/h, which makes some trade-offs to the top end.

An inviting all round package does however ensure new and inexperienced riders will have an easy starting point, that could well lead into the larger capacity V-Strom machines.
