DNA have just released their new high performance airfilter for the new 2021 Yamaha MT-09 lineup. DNA claim that fitting this new airfilter to a 2021 Yamaha MT-09 will increase airflow by 25.71 per cent. The performance airfilter is on sale now for $184.00 RRP.
DNA claim that their air filter will give an increase in power and torque from your MT-09, with a claimed 12hp increase.
This filter features DNA’s advanced FCd1 (Full Contour design), part of their secret formula into making their airfilters more effective. With a relatively straightforward Installation of this filter; simply follow the installation instructions included in the Triumph workshop manual with no extra steps compared to a normal service.
The release of the filter comes after Yamaha announced the 2021 MT-09 and MT-09 SP. The 2021 model will come with plenty of upgrades, with the most important being its new 889cc engine. This now means that the three-cylinder puts out an impressive 119Hp at the wheels, add the new DNA filter and you will have yourself a rocket ship of a bike.
The filtering is extremely high at 98-99 per cent filtering efficiency, with four layers of DNA Cotton and the air flow of this new filter set is +25.71 per cent more than the stock filters.
