The Kabuto RT-33 helmet offers exceptional value in a full feature helmet, and really stands out with this eye catching design. Review: Richard Collins

When it comes to the Kabuto RT-33 helmet, I would get another one without a second thought.

There are a lot of great things about the RT-33 helmet. The visor comes pinlock ready, which will save having to drill if you want one. Everything is glove friendly, with three ventilation mechanisms, one at the chin, one above the forehead and one at the rear.

The aerodynamic shape, combined with a modern Italianesque colour scheme with a bit of sparkle suits me down to the ground. The visor fixing is quick change, so flipping between clear and tinted visors is a breeze.

Inside the helmet there are some nice features including removable padding, glasses friendly design and “cutouts” for speakers. This made fitting the speakers and hiding the cables of my Bluetooth communications system a few minutes job. Finally, it is quite lightweight, low wind noise (but everyone’s head is different) and super comfortable.

At $579.95 RRP this is a good value option that competes with the big names and ticks all the boxes for me. See Moto National Accessories for more information. motonational.com.au
