Kawasaki Motors Australia Donate Ninja 300 Training Unit To Tafe NSW – Sydney Institute
Kawasaki Motors Australia have reaffirmed their commitment to supporting emerging Apprentice Motorcycle Technicians by donating a 2015 Kawasaki Ninja 300 to TAFE NSW – Sydney Institute for vocational training purposes.
The donation is one of many that Kawasaki Motors Australia have contributed to various TAFE institutes around Australia, in an effort to encourage sustainable training practices that make students better equipped when entering the workforce.
Technical Service Department Assistant Manager at Kawasaki Motors Australia, Jeremy Fuller is a passionate advocate of the donation program explaining, “We have developed a strong relationship with TAFE through product donation and support over the years. We aim to provide the latest products and diagnostic service tools so that apprentice technicians can benefit from learning on modern machinery as opposed to dated products.”
“In addition to donating motorcycles and diagnostic service tools, we have also trained some teachers on best practice for delivering mostly diagnostic training focused on Kawasaki products.”
Head Teacher of Automotive Technology at TAFE NSW – Sydney Institute, Peter Denison expressed his gratitude saying, “We are grateful for the one of many donations. It means that our students get the latest and greatest to learn on, which is a benefit to us and to Kawasaki owners as well,” referring to the students who will eventually be applying their learning to Kawasaki motorcycles in dealerships and workshops around Australia.
TAFE NSW – Sydney Institute Motorcycle Teacher, Paul Sampieri added by saying, “Thank you to Kawasaki Motors Australia for this donation. If it wasn’t for Kawasaki, we wouldn’t have the bikes that we need for our training and in turn, for our students to be relevant and current with industry standards.”
“We will pull down the engine and inspect it and use the diagnostic tools provided by Kawasaki to work with this Ninja 300 as a learning resource, more specifically a late model fuel injection training aid.”
Kawasaki Motors Australia are honoured to be supporting Australian training institutes and endeavour to continue cooperating with TAFE in an effort to maintain and enhance the quality of future technical proficiency in the motorcycling industry.
