Yamaha Day commemorates the birth of Yamaha Motor Corporation – formed on 1 July 1955 when the first model YA1 Red Dragonfly rolled off the production line. It has been 66 years of some amazing creations like the YZF-R1 and the wacky models like the Niken!

Yamaha are celebrating their 66th birthday from home this year, giving fans a chance at winning some of their products.

Yamaha’s birthday celebrations are a global event encompassing all products – including music; a day when Yamaha globally can celebrate its shared values of innovation, excitement, confidence, emotion and ties. Yamaha say they injected these values into everything they do, striving to meet the expectations of their valued customers.

The core theme for Yamaha Day 2021, is “Let’s Strive for Greater Happiness.” To learn more about this year’s theme and Yamaha’s Long Term vision (LTV) visit the Yamaha Day 2021 landing page here.

Yamaha are giving fans a chance to win one of their Revstar electric guitars and gift cards to celebrate their 66th.

Central to this page is new series of #UnitedbyYamaha stories. These short films have been designed to provide an insight into what drives Yamaha staff, dealer partners and ambassadors to strive for greater happiness. You will also see the #UnitedByYamaha competition which you can enter to win some great prizes including a Yamaha Revstar electric guitar and ShopYamaha gift vouchers. The competition is open from 1 July until 15 August 2021. Full competition details and Terms and Conditions are available here.

Unfortunately, 2020 and 2021 Yamaha day celebration were canceled due to COVID-19 outbreaks here in NSW. The 2019 celebrations were a blast when we attended, with plenty of fun including a BBQ, jumping castle, past and present models on display with a set-up for the young ones to try out Yamaha’s junior range of motorcycles.

We love the support Yamaha show us here at BikeReview.com.au and the chances we get to ride all of their abundant range, Happy birthday Yamaha!
