“Boasting a maximum power of 37kW at 9500rpm and a maximum torque of 39Nm at 7600rpm, it’s an explosive burst of energy”… The little 450 nakedbike looks like a good load of fun. We can’t wait to try one. The 450SR was great.

CFMOTO say that at the heart of the 450NK lies a 449cc parallel-twin engine that unleashes a commanding surge of power. Boasting a maximum power of 37kWa@9500rpm and a maximum torque of 39Nm@7600rpm, they say it’s an explosive burst of energy that delivers strong acceleration with every gear change. Looks like it wheelies OK anyway!

With the standard-equipped slipper clutch, CFMOTO say that gear shifts are seamless and sharp downshifts are controlled, offering an unmatched level of stability. The double-balanced shaft design expertly curbs vibrations, ensuring swift and smooth acceleration. The 270° crankshaft angle delivers output characteristics akin to a V-twin, further enhancing the ride’s intensity, while the 14L fuel tank capacity ensures a cruising range of over 300km, according to CFMOTO.

Continuing on, CFMOTO go on to say that the 450NK’s dynamic ergonomic design strikes the perfect balance between sportiness and comfort. The footrest and handlebar positioning ensures an optimal riding posture, while the sporty-oriented Ø37mm inverted front forks absorb impacts on uneven surfaces, enabling effortless traversal through rough Australian roads. Coupled with high-performance CST tyres, the 450NK negotiates corners and intersections with tenacity, they say.

According to CFMOTO, safety is paramount, and the 450NK is equipped with a front Ø320mm single floating disc paired with a J.Juan radial caliper, a Ø220mm single rear disc, and standard ABS, providing precise and controlled braking power in every situation. The innovative traction control system enhances grip and prevents accidents by timely intervention in slippery conditions. At just 165kg fully fuelled, the lightweight design ensures agile handling, even for beginners, they state.
